infernal machines Passing Fad!
Check out this article at The Register that claims the internet is a passing fad and its number of users are declining in lieu or reality.

infernal machines Das Boot!
Friday night I went over to Major's house to get his family comp to boot up. It wouldn't get past the start-up bmp. After I fixed the problem (bad install of a game) we sat down to dinner... Curry everything, hot & spicey, DAMN that stuff is good! Oh yeah, and plenty of beers to cool the heat. Next time... Kauva (sp?).

vinyl rules! Concert!
Friday I scored tickets to The Jingle Ball from Ned of the morning show at The End.
Not only did I get two tickets but also VIP passes for the VIP Lounge and entrance to the pre-concert Meet & Greet the Artist party. Not a bad deal and I'll be taking Tabatha, this will be her first concert, what a first concert eh?
THE BANDS: 98 Degrees, Boyz II Men, Pink, Brian McKnight, Baha Men, Mya, Evan & Jaron, Kandi, Plus One, Makaila, O Town.
DISCLAIMER: as an ex-DJ of 10 years I like a variety of music and in no way do I condone the listening of cheezy pop music.
THEORY: like what you like because you genuinely like it and not because of media hype, peer pressure, expectations, pop culture, etc... Use YOUR mind, think for yourself, be original, wear your Scorpions concert shirt to a Britney Spears show.

infernal machines Update!
I'm working on my Old School Index page to make it as scroll free as possible. There is so much data there that the page as gotten a bit long and most of the space is links. The fix is easy! a pop-up/drop-down menu. Here is what I've done so far, this is just a test page and it's not live so while its not perfect it is a "work in progress" and when I'm happy with the menu I will move on to the rest of the content.
Any comments?

ride a bike! Old School!
As noted on my Old School BMX page, I stay away from price/value quotes.
In general I don't want my knowledge to be used for Old School hackers to make a profit with.
My belief is that Old School bmx gear is to love and cherish, not to profit on. But still I get these Q's via email daily, "How Much should I pay for a...", "how much can I get for my...."?.
Leave me alone! If you can't afford it then don't even go there, if you can afford it... its worth as much as you're willing to pay! You may be able to get a complete bike for $10.00 or that same bike might cost you $500.00 it just depends on the buyer & seller.
Now, if you want to buy my knowledge? lol, then I'll kick down!

vinyl rules! Water & Music Don't Mix!
Damn leaky garage! I moved some boxes around and a corner of one of my CD stashes got dripped on so I spent an hour this AM drying them out... I have CD parts scattered all over the house. Inserts will be wrinkled but they will still play.
Do you like records, vinyl, wax, 12"... you know those big black round thangs?
I have krates of them if your into collecting or spinning. You can peep a very small list of what I actually have at my STORE.

what the? Neighbors!
I swear these ppl fill up their garbage can and then start on mine like its no big deal... like I don't have any refuse of my own and to top it off they park the can under their window so they don't have to come downstairs. The lazy bastards leave the lid off of the can off so they can drop the garbage out of the window and into the can below. GOOD NEWS! They moved out this weekend but as like all the rest of the idiots when they move... they fill up everybody's can with their left overs. I feel sorry for their next neighbors ;>

huh? Long Weekend!
A great fun & family filled weekend. I created a cool mouseOver menu for the Old School main page and now I have to set the infinite pop-up links part of it. I'm trying to get that page down to 1 screen again w/o any scrolling!
I gained two pounds, that's a good thing, I would like to be at 185-190 before spring.
Tabatha and I went to the movies Sunday to see whatever was on and to check out the holiday shopping madness. We ended up seeing The 6th Day, cool movie, mostly for the effects, and ass kicking!

shread headz Board & Dinner!
It just so happens that my sis is going to be up at their cabin for Turkey Day and heard I was going to be in the area boarding and invited me over for post session meal... Rock on!
Also I have a line on a new ride if the deal goes down (hello Peter) but it looks like another day of rentals for tomorrow.
I think Tabatha & I will ride the hill on Friday?

lazy motorist Damn Motorist!
Watch out ppl, the idiots are on the road! No damn blinkers, driving too fast, red light runnin', cutting off, tail gating pieces of shit!
Threaten to take the idiot's cars away and replace it with a bicycle and the lazy in a hurry SOB's will drive better.

shread headz To The Hills!
My family is fragmented this holiday so I decided to go snowboarding for Thanksgiving, yeah I can't wait.
No big turkey dinner though. I wonder if the resort's lodge will have sumthin' for us loners?
As a bonus I get to leave work at noon, heck yeah, I think I will go over to Tower Records and get the new Backstreet Boys CD LOL!

infernal machinesAdditions!
Here's a page I created yesterday. Its another one pager for work, I met with the client and we decide what to do but while creating I had gotten a few ideas of my own and took it another direction. Good thing she liked it!

Over the weekend I created a "My Netscape" channel to represent my domain. Its a pretty cool deal, specially since its free to apply but you just have to know how to do it?
Here's what the button looks like that you display on your site

If you click on it, it takes you through a two step process that applies the channel to your Netscape home page. Click on mine to see what it looks like. If you want one for your site talk to me and maybe I will hook you up?

click mo'Whoa!
Check this out. My buddy Thor sent this link to me. Its a anti Jar Jar Binks doll campaign by some bible thumpers and theses ppl are really out there!
click me.
