1984 Stu Thompsen Huffy Signature...

Stu Thompsen was one of my favorite BMXers as I was growing up but I don't remember seeing this bike, I must have had my "Huffy guard" up ;>

The first image above is of the top tube sticker and the second is the frame pad.  The sticker on the fork says, "Power System".  I've included a close-up of the pedal to show its detail.  Basically this bike is a mass produced department store variety and not really a true racer.

Huffy pedal This bike was submitted to us by Steve C., here is what he has to say...

"Stu Thomsen Huffy Sig. 1984 in white like NOS. Barely used by a small kid. It came from a friend in Chicago a couple years ago. It is completely original except the seat. The seat shown is a NOS Kashimax "handler". I know the bike was made in red. It was the first ever signature series BMX bike, so I've been told & I'm pretty sure it is true!"  --Steve C.
