"Back in the day" all Quads were
either Cro-mo or Reynolds 531 steel.
Notable "Old School" parts on this bike are: JMC forks, Haro brake
lever, blue Comp 4 tires. If you've never seen JMC's frame and fork... they used
tear drop tubing which was a lot flatter than any tubing of that type used today in bmx,
the fork looked as if you could bend it to the side just by kicking it! The trick
seats back in the late 70's early 80's had no padding, came in various colors and were
drilled for lightness. The UNI seats that small kids use now were widely used by all
back then. |
