1974-76 Kawasaki BX100

 PARTS:

Kawasaki BX100 aluminum frame,
Rear coil shocks,
Rigid front fork/strut,
Dbl. clamp integrated stem,
Black boxed handle bars,
Waffle grips,
Banana type seat,
Heavy duty steel rims, Blk spokes,
Lowflanged hubs, coaster brake, 1pc steel crank, steel sprocket,
Steel rat trap pedals,
Knobby tires.

 

I believe the Kawasaki BX100 above is close to original.
Additional Data:  the original front forks are definitely not shocks, the bottom half of the strut has a black rubber boot on it (like the ones on MX shocks) which gives it the look of having suspension.  the 28 stock spokes are painted black and I think they are 80 gauge.  the chromed steel rims are similar to the Araya 7b's.  rear shock coils should be chrome (Yamaha has some that are painted black).  originally this bike came with no fenders, side plates, tanks, or any of the other fake MX look alike stuff.
