Eric
from the Northwest has this to say about Woody's Trikstar...
"This is probably one of the rarest pictures I've got. It's Woody Itson on his gold plated Hutch Trikstar. It must have been a little
on the heavy side but it was definitely a sight to behold. It's interesting to note
how every part of the bike that is made of metal is gold plated with the exception of the
brake levers and wheel hubs.
Incidentally, this was also around the time Hutch
introduced the paint scheme called "Futuristic Black". It
was an interesting color to feel as well as to look at. It was a very durable
finish. I may have seen it on cookware or ovens or something though I'm not sure.
Sorry about the graininess. The lighting was poor and the film was cheap."
Thanks to Eric
for his Old School photo and the above info.
Rockalot's Notes:
Check out those race pants! You don't see gear like that nowadays,
lol. Light blue with pink stars and tighter than a frog's butt hole! The
blonde hair guy (that's right... it's a guy!) in the background is the one
and only Dizz Hicks and beside him is Ceppie Mays.
Wasn't the eighties great! ;>
