Heres a cool set of cranks if you have an old Diamondback to put them on. Looking at these I would swear they were a set of Super Maxy's but then again maybe Sugino made the Super Maxy's as well as these Diamondbacks, anybody know the answer?
The price for these when they first hit the streets was $58.95! 170mm arms, accepts 9/16 pedals and came with all you see... ready to go! These cranks use the typical bottom bracket for the times, 4 sided spindle and the crank bolts screwed into the spindle like most MTB cranks do today.
Complete with the original box.

They were thinking when they made these crank arms. The polished area where the lettering is, is raised with "Diamond Back"
engraved into it. This was a good idea as I remember from my own experiance that after much use, the sides of the crank arm would start
to loose it's color due to the rider's shoe rubbing across it and with this design you would have to wear down all of the raised portion before these arms started looking bad.
