Sea Otter Race Photo

Check out this 28 mile loop, sweet single track, tall green grass to the sides, in & out of trees, all in the beautiful rolling hills of Montery, CA.
Now if you do decide to ride (not race) this durring the weekend of the Sea Otter Classic you will need: all the proper gear, to yeild to Sea Otter participants and you should wait until all races are finished for that day.
The photo above was shot at the bottom of the "Power Post Downhill", this is within walking distance from the start/finish line and is a popular spot to catch the participants on their final decent back to the paved raceway. The "Power Post Downhill" is a short/steep section with 3 man made drop offs, lots of wrecks occur here, in 1995 a rider didn't make the 90 degree turn at the bottom but insted flew into the crowd and while leaning over the fence video taping the pro's I got barended in the head... great footage though.

I hear there is some good riding at Fort Ord which is right next door to Laguna Seca, if anyone can confirm this then send us some Email.

Directions: Get a map! it's on there.
